Kelechi Nkechinyere Akinyele is a Lecturer II and early career researcher in the department of Medical Biochemistry. She is dedicated to fostering critical thinking through interactive lectures and project -based learning. She is skilled in integrating music as a tool for education and motivation. She is highly organized and result-oriented academic committed to contributing to high quality teaching, impactful research with a focus on student mentorship. Her academic and research interests are centred on Natural product/Biochemical Toxicology.She is currently on her PhD programme in Obafemi Awolowo University.She is a member of professional bodies including the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (NSBMB) and the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World (OWSD). She has served as research assistant in research grants and joined in various community services within and outside the university.
